Lee Leonard | Founder | The Football Lab

Throughout his career, Lee has helped develop players who have progressed to professional environments, professional academies, MLS NEXT academies, youth national teams, and collegiate soccer. He has also held leadership positions at leading youth clubs, including Director of Coaching and Academy Director at TSF Academy and Director of Youth Development at Cedar Stars Academy Bergen.
 

While these experiences have given him a unique perspective on player development and high-performance environments, they have also reinforced a simple belief: the game is bigger than any pathway, league, or level of competition.
 

Lee founded The Football Lab with the conviction that football belongs to the people. Whether a player dreams of representing their country, earning a college scholarship, competing professionally, or simply enjoying the game with friends, every player's journey matters. At its core, football is about joy, expression, connection, and growth.
 

The mission of The Football Lab is to create an environment where players can develop technically, think creatively, compete confidently, and most importantly, build a lifelong love for the game. Lee believes that true development happens when players are challenged, supported, and inspired to become the best version of themselves both on and off the field.
 

Every player who walks into The Football Lab is treated with the same care, attention, and commitment, regardless of age or ability. Because while not every player will reach the highest levels of the game, every player deserves the opportunity to experience what makes football the world's game.
